Course Aims
This course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills about
? Creating and presenting a production plan and proposal for multimedia projects.
? Creating standalone, WWW, and CD/DVD deliverable multimedia applications using various related softwares
? Creating and properly implement the multimedia objects in a highly interactive multimedia applications
? Presenting information about their multimedia project in a professional manner
Course Goals
 
Learning Outcomes of The Course Unit
1. Understand the process by which a piece of multimedia software is created.
2. Understand the history of multimedia and how multimedia has evolved over the years.
3. Identify and explain the major types of multimedia and how they differ from each other.
4. Create their own movie using advanced video and audio editing skills.
5. Demonstrate their knowledge of digital photography by enhancing, changing, and creating their own digital images.
Course Contents
This course provides a comprehensive background for working with digital sound, images, and video for multimedia projects ranging from CD-ROM title production to website design. This course will help the student become familiar with current major software packages used in multimedia production.
