1) Bring the basic scientific and engineering informations into life
2) Understanding material properties and its behavior.
3) Design of engineering structures and projecting the basic knowledge, and the basic knowledge required to design, to the horizon and skills.
Course Contents
Introduction to composite materials. Classification of composite materials. Anisotropic elasticity and laminate theory. Thermal and hygrothermal effects. Plates and panels of composite materials. Bending of composite plates. Shear deformations. Beams and columns of composite materials. Strength and failure theories.
