Course Aims
The world ¾ covered with water. Commercial and tourist activities between the countries that breed in the transfer of life and property, marine transportation, has very great importance. Sea transport problems encountered during the studies have been made to resolve and as a result of these studies and the International Maritime Conventions Legislation has emerged.
Course Goals
1) Maritime activities have gained more importance today
2) International conventions on maritime transport has made arrangements
3) Turkey should give importance to marine transportation

To prevent the International Maritime Organization (IMO) put into effect by the contracts: Ssözleşmesi International Maritime Organization, Safety of Life at Sea Convention, and Mal, Preventing Collisions at Sea International Rules Agreement with Marine Oil Pollution of the International Covenant and all the other contracts
