Course Aims
The aim of this course is to able to desing mower, blending, cleaning machines, power transmission systems of the harvest threshing machines
Course Goals
To introduce the students to harvesting and threshing machines
To introduce the students to design and analyze practical engineering problems using geometric modeling,
To teach students to perform design with commercial CAD/CAE packages
Learning Outcomes of The Course Unit
Students can use SolidWorks and CAD/CAM software for general manufacturing of an engineering component.
Students can learn about harvesting technology
To be able to design to harvesting and threshing machine with commercial CAD/CAE packages
Course Contents
Harvesting and threshing tecnics, working principle of harvesters, desing parameters of green fodder harvester, combine harvesters, cutting unit of combine harvesters, threshing units of combine harverters, clean and seperation units of combine harvesters
