Course Aims
The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to the principles of renewable energy resources and theories of renewable energy systems
Course Goals
To increase the proportion of the utilization of renewable energy among conventional energy sources
To teach students to perform planning renewable energy management
To gain the ability of designing renewable energy systems
Learning Outcomes of The Course Unit
Can calculate wind, solar, biogas, biodiesel, biomass and hydro energy systems characteristics
Can manage energy systems
Can design wind, solar, biogas, biodiesel, biomass and hydro energy systems

Energy panorama in the World and Turkey, theory and calculations of wind, solar, biogas, biodiesel, biomass and hydro energy systems, design parameter of renewable energy systems
