Course Contents : Binder materials:Gypsum,lime,puzzolanas, Portland cements: manufacturing, physical and mechanical properties. Aggregates:properties and tests,aggregate mix.design.Concrete:factors effecting strength. Properties of fresh concrete,mix design,production of concrete.Properties of hardened concrete.Durability of concrete and concrete design with respect to durability, Quality control. Types of concrete. Destructive and non destructive test morhods. Ceramic, plastik and wood materials.
