Course Contents : Structure of atom, the historical development of atomic theory, particles of atoms, quantum numbers, Periodic table, some atomic properties, Chemical bond concept, Lewis structure, VSEPR theory, VBT, Molecule Orbital Theory, Chemical Compounds, formulas and nomenclature, Mole concept and chemical calculations Gases, Gase Laws, Liquids, related laws, Solids, intermolecular effects, Solutions, Types of solution, Concentration of solution

Course Goals : 1) To recognize the atoms and molecules, to predict the physical and chemical behaviors of them.
2) Synthesis of new compounds that are the needs of modern technology, determination of their properties, improving and applying the techniques.
Course Aims : The aim of the course is to get the students acquainted with the matter, chemistry, atomic and molecular structure and stochiometric calculations.
