Course Contents : General Description of chromatography, Introduction to Chromatography and to introduce basic concepts, Chromatographic techniques, column chromatography, gas chromatography, gas chromatography injection systems, columns and detectors used, application areas, Principles of Gas Chromatography, Gas Chromatography Equipment, Gas chromatographic columns, capillary columns and stationary phases, band broadening and column efficiency, Optimization of Column Performance, Chromatographic separation theory and mathematical expressions. Sample preparation for gas chromatography, qualitative analysis - the quantitative analysis, preparative work, the formation of derivatives, the evaluation of chromatogram, the error sources in gas chromatography, the possible causes and troubleshooting remedies, gas chromatographic food analysis.
