Learning Outcomes of The Course Unit : 1.Learns from a critical perspective the usage of financial analysis techniques and will be able to prepare a feasibility study upon using financial benchmarks.
2.Understands the importance of project analysis in resource allocation and will be able to designate and measure benefits and costs.
3.Perceives the importance of time on interest calculation, will include targets such as equality, poverty and maintenance in project appraisal.
4.Receives information on qualitative and quantitative measurement methods considering the interaction between economy, effectiveness, environmental characteristics and public impacts.
5.May prepare investment projects on various forestry topics and undertake their application.

Course Contents : Development and investment projects, researches on preparation of investment projects, market researches, capacity researches, selection of establishment place, determination of technology alternatives, project assessment criteria, multi-criteria evaluation of forestry projects.

Course Goals : 1.To learn the conceptual basics of investment projects.
2.To learn the analyses used in the preparation of investment projects (Market analysis, Technical analysis, Financial analysis).
3.To learn the commercial analyses of investment projects and perform exemplary applications.
4.To acquire information on risk analysis in project appraisal and be informed on project appraisal in inflationist environments.
5.To learn the method for making public profitability analyses.
6.To analyze and evaluate examples of forestry investment projects.
Course Aims : To learn the basics of investment projects and acquire the skills for applying them in forestry-related projects.
