Course Contents : Following topics are examined throughout the course; decoration and architectural decoration, theoretical introduction thru a historical perfective, to the relationship between decoration and architectural expression, context and color factors, expression characteristics of those theories, observing the materials and techniques of the chosen periods or compositions, motif fictions and links to the neighborhood cultures.

Course Aims : Decoration has a great importance at formation of the Ottoman Architecture.
This course aims to establish the relationship between architectural decorations with minor handcrafts.
