Course Contents : Definition and dynamics of globalization, globalization process impacts on agriculture ,effects of the national agricultural of developments in the world trading system, IMF, World Bank and World Trade Organization's global agricultural policies for the agricultural sector , changes in agricultural systems in the world , the phenomenon of global competition in trade in agricultural products, case of incorporation of agricultural production, imbalances in global food production and sharing, the effects of the global economic crisis in the agricultural sector , the global food crisis and their impact on world food prices , effects of globalization in agriculture on developed and less developed countries , international corporations and foreign direct investment in agriculture, privatization in the agricultural sector, monopolization problems in production and distribution of basic agricultural inputs , multinational companies and food production

Course Aims : The aim of this course is the definition and dynamics of globalization, globalization process impacts on agriculture, effects of the national agricultural of developments in the world trading system, IMF, world bank and world trade organization's global agricultural policies for the agricultural sector , changes in agricultural systems in the world, imbalances in global food production and sharing, the effects of the global economic crisis in the agricultural sector , the global food crisis and their impact on world food prices and effects of globalization in agriculture on developed and less developed countries
