Course Contents : The emergence of the water problem, and importance of water, the properties of water as an economic good water supply, water supply factors affecting, water demand, water demand factors affecting, water economy, the price elasticity of water demand, potential for groundwater and surface water resources in turkey and world, water management and water conservation in Turkey, imbalances in water sharing in the world the change caused by global climate change on water policy, agricultural irrigation systems and water use, agricultural irrigation policies, global water policy governing organizations, water usage and multinational companies, investment in irrigation management and privatization, privatization practices in agricultural irrigation, Turkey's water projects and irrigation associations, the concept of virtual water and virtual water trade, water management in the European union, Turkey and the middle east water issues
