Course Contents : Chemical composition of lignin, analyses of plants, amount and classification of lignin, differences between hard- and softwoods
Languages of Instruction : Turkish-English
Course Goals : Chemical composition lignin will be examined in detail, differences between soft- and hardwoods will be identified.
Analyses of lignin from different tissues of plants, amount and classification of lignin will be taught.
Course Aims : It is aimed to teach with analysing chemical composition of lignin, one of the main component of wood, naming, classification, presence and distribution of lignin in the plant world. Also, obtaining methods of lignin from wood and bark are taught.
