Course Contents : The concept of technology and its definitions, philosophies of technology, the relationship between technology and social change, information society, information technology, the concept and dimensions of educational technology, learning theories, the role of technology in teaching and learning, constructivist technology integration, computers as cognitive tools (concept mapping, spreadsheets, etc.), instructional software, multimedia and hypermedia in education, virtual reality, simulation and ethical issues in technology implementation.

Course Aims : This course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills about the nature of technology, philosophies of technology, information society, information technologies, definition and theoretical dimensions of educational technology, learning theories, the role of technology in teaching and learning, and various technology applications that can be integrated into educational contexts.
