Course Contents : Introduction to powder metallurgy, powder production methods, powder characterization, mixing, and powder pressing in rigid dies, sintering tecnics, full density technics of metalic powders, vapour tempering of PM parts, PM industrial applications.

Course Aims : In this lesson, to introduce the powder metallurgy (P/M), selection criteria of P/M for industrial applications, to determine the pressing and sintering conditions, P/M die design, to understand the P/M sectors, To comprehend the P/M applications for Turkey and World Manufacturing Industry.
