Course Contents : Types of Stresses and Strains, elastic and plastic deformation of engineering materials, Anisotropic linear Elasticity, Anelastisity, Mohr´s Circle for Stress and Strain. Macroscopic Plasticity. Yield Criteria. Macroscopic Deformation Behavior of Ductile Materials. Low and high temperature Fracture, Fracture Mechanics and fracture tests, Fatigue and fatigue crack propagation
