Course Contents : Importance of cattle production, type concept in cattle husbandry, beef cattle breeds, important characters in beef cattle breeding, management, animal housing, determination of breeding value, fattening, carcass grading and preventive health subjects will be given

Course Goals : To teach important beef cattle breeds raised in Turkey and in the world
To teach important morphological and physiological characters of beef cattle
To teach reproduction, milk and meat yield
To teach production systems and selection and dressing percentage and meat quality
Course Aims : To provide information on beef cattle that have important place in meat production, to teach ways of producing cheaper and good quality meat
