Course Contents : Remote sensing Basic Definitions and Concepts, Remote sensing techniques in general and Applications in animal science, Electromagnetic Spectrum, Ray Sources, electromagnetic rays, Energy-Object relations, the detection systems, Photographic Systems, Optical Systems, Microwave Systems, Satellite Systems, Satellite Orbits, image processing and analysis techniques, grassland Classification by remote sensing

Course Goals : To teach and develop student's skills on remote sensing and geographic information systems to use for animal science
Course Aims : The aim of the course is to teach the basic principles of Remote sensing techniques to use in animal husbandry and pasture for livestock in the livestock business in the application-oriented knowledge and skills.
