Course Contents : Introduction to Environmental Nanotechnology, Nanomaterials: Definition and properties, application areas, Nanomaterial production processes, Production of nanomaterials using environmentally friendly production techniques, Characterization of Nanoparticles, Uses of Nanoparticles, Use of nanotechnology in energy production, Use of nanoparticles to control environmental pollution, The effects of nanoparticles on environment and living things, Toxicology and risk management, Scientific researches and regulations that should be done in the future related to nanotechnology.

Course Aims : Environmental applications of nanotechnology have become very important recently. In this frame, latest developments related to nanotechnology, environmentally friendly manufacturing procedures, possible effects on human and environment and scientific researches and regulations that should be done in the future related to nanotechnology will be mentioned. As a result, development of scientific infrastructure on environmental nanotechnology which is sensitive to human and environment is aimed with this course.
