Course Contents : Introduction to solar energy, converting solar energy in to heat, early applications of solar energy, solar geometry, motion of sun, solar angles, spectral distributions of solar radiation above the atmosphere and solar constant, solar time, solar radiation incident on planes above the atmosphere, solar radiation incident on earth surface, transition of solar radiation through the atmosphere, heat meters, calculation of solar radiation incident on horizontal surface, solar radiation measurement in our country, plane inclination taking maximum solar radiation.
