Course Contents : Sources of metals and their compounds, Heavy metals, Toxic metals, Metals and Chemistry of aqueous solution, Introduction to recovery methods, Leaching of metals, Recovery of metals from solutions by solvent extraction, Recovery of metals from solutions by ion exchange, Sorption, Biosorption, Recovery of metals from solutions by Electrodialysis and Donnan dialysis, Recovery of metals from solutions by Reverse osmosis, Recovery of metals from solutions by Nanofiltration, Ultrafiltration and Microfiltration, General assessment.
