General Information : The students that achieve a satisfactory grade at the University Entrance Exams or direct pass conditions are admitted to the pre-license program of the Department. Marketing Program is a social program and has 2 years curriculum. It covers concepts of marketing, its theory, laws and applications.The education is given in Turkish.  
Qualification Awarded : The Pre-License Degree in Marketing Program is awarded to students who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum and they become ? Marketing Technician?.  
Level of Qualification : Short Cycle (Associate?s Degree).  
Specific Admission Requirements : High School Diploma Placement through a centralized national university placement examination.  
Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (formal, non-formal and informal) : ÖSS  
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : National qualifications frameworks may contain levels (or intermediate qualifications) within the three Bologna cycles (e.g. a short cycle within the first cycle). These levels allow institutions to structure a particular qualification and regulate progression through the qualification. Qualification Requirements and Regulations are enacted by YÖK (The Council Of Higher Education) in Turkey.  
Profile of The Programme : It is objectived to raise member of profession who * is awareness in the matter of Ataturk´s principles, informed in the matter of history reforms * to be able to use Turkish properly * to be able to use mathematic abilities in professional field * be knowledgeable about new marketing techniques * to be knowledgeable about advertising, branding and saling and be able to contribute at this fields * to know the consumer and contribute for observing the market nearly by examine social, psychological effects * to know English necessary for professional field * to be knowledgeable about culture, law, finance, management and public relations for offering the products and services * to be able to build communication with managers and personal and offer solutions if its necessary * be knowledgeable about accounting system and to be able to use it for basic accounting applications in firm * to know the subjects under discus about commercial firms * to know the basic economical concepts * to able to build effective written and verbal communication  
Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples : The students who have completed this program successfully can work as a salesperson, sales representative and sales supervisor in companies or customer representative in public relations and advertisement agencies.  
Access to Further Studies : Graduates with the Pre-license Degree in Marketing may apply undergraduate programs in related fields by DGS exam.  
Aims Of Programme : The aim of the program is to train member of profession who is equipped with required occupation knowledge for marketing planing and application to offer the products and services produced by firms. The members are also required by firms for their marketing and sales applications.  
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : As a general rule assessment is based on 1 mid-term (%40) and 1 final exam (%60) per course. Various courses may demand course works or quizes.  
Graduation Requirements : Getting all courses those are necessary for graduation in legal duration and graduating from the program by carrying out all the courses successfully with a minimum General Grade Average of 2.00.

Program Learning Outcomes
1 To define and to gather requisite data about marketing to solve problems that is defined completely, to denote to have access to requisite theoretic information, handcraft and ideational skill on practical applications
2 To be able to transfer definitively to workmate, superiors and person and groups which is gives service, design and applications concerning marketing
3 To denote to learn independently in field concerning marketing and to be able to perform that had been learnt
4 To have the knowledge intermediate for foreign language in field
5 To be able to use office software, internet technology in conjunction with knowledge of computer usage
6 To possess knowledge and awareness about social responsibility, professional ethics and social security rights in field
7 To possess awareness in the matter of Ataturk´s principles and informed in the matter of history reforms
8 To be able to perform the teoritical information about services marketing, direct marketing, international marketing in his/her occupation
9 To dominate the preperations and the applications of pre sale, sale and after sale
10 To be knowledgeable about the customer behaviours and to determine long term relationship strategies
