General Information : Tourism and Hotel Management program, in tourism sector to receive services in production processes and management tasks to help or you can open your own business to run on behalf of qualified manpower is the aim higher education programme. Isparta Vocational school involved 50 people quota scripts Tourism and Hotel Management , optional English preparatory class as well as normal and second instruction has to be 2 year training period. The department has knowledge of English can benefit from a year non foreign language preparatory class is a possibility. Also during the first two semester years of compulsory English language course has been placed 4 hours per a week last 2 semesters of foreign language courses a given elective language is intended to assimilate information. In addition 3 and 4 semester as electives has been put in Russian and German. In first class, as the theoretic and practice, professional and cultural lessons are given towards knowing departments and their working at tourism sectors. From third semester on, according to concern and ability of students, since they can prefer, branches of pre office and floor services, foods, drinking and kitchen has been towards becoming an expert with elective course.  
Qualification Awarded : The students who gratuated from this program are named as a profession in Tourism sector  
Level of Qualification : Short Cycle (Associate?s Degree).In generally, a person who wants to get title of profession member of Tourism sector has ability of thinking analytic and ability of solving problem must be interesting in mathematics, sociology, and psychology. Because of department?s nature, since profession member of Tourism sector requires to contact and close cooperation with personals of company, it is expected that he/she is patient, understanding, tolerant, and sensible towards needing of person, tell his own idea to another people, and a person who has strength of convincing to people. A student who educates tourism and hotel management needs both theoretic and practical university serve this need  
Specific Admission Requirements : Students deserve enrolment according to high school certificate and result of central installation exam is made by students choice and installation centre. A student who has started education at equivalent programmes at homeland or abroad can apply for horizontal passing.  
Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (formal, non-formal and informal) : Undergraduate transfer application to tourism and hotel management program is assessed based on the regulation related to graduate transfer in the level of bachelor and associate degree among the high education institutions. Passing from domestic universities: ? To be educated one semester minimum without preparation classes ? To be successful for the foreseen lessons that had to be taken at the end of the current education year in the current university. ? To posses the general average marks, 2.40 at the average of 4.00 or to have 60 at the mark of 100. ? Not to being punished disciplinary. Passing from foreign universities: ? To be educated in a university that is allowed by Turkish Higher Education Council ? To be educated two semester minimum without preparation class ? To be successful for the foreseen lessons that had to be taken at the end of the current education year in the current university. ? To posses the general average marks, 2.40 at the average of 4.00 or to have 60 at the mark of 100. ? Not to being punished disciplinary.  
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : National qualifications frameworks may contain levels (or intermediate qualifications) within the three Bologna cycles (e.g. a short cycle within the first cycle). These levels allow institutions to structure a particular qualification and regulate progression through the qualification. Qualification Requirements and Regulations are enacted by YÖK (The Council Of Higher Education) in Turkey.  
Profile of The Programme : Raising individuals qualified in decision making, owning the ability of putting a plan into practice, tracking the latest developments in world tourism closely, being able to use information and communication technologies, etc.that are needed both in Turkey and world tourism industry. In addition to legal responsibility and basic principles of Accommodation Services as accommodation industry?s business executive during their education,students should also know about; ? Following related laws and using commercial documents ? Grasping the value of vocational virtues in business life ? Carrying out related correspondances by means of computers, storing and using information ? Using vocational computer packet programmes ? Applying processes, techniques and basics in the development of food production and consumption ? Applying processes, techniques and basics in the development of cleanliness, maintenance and protection ? Having application skills on bureau order and management of staff ? Applying in and out, pre- accountancy processes in the development of service production and consumption Graduation of the students is the main target of the programme.  
Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples : Profession member of tourism sector is a person who can bring about sources, existences, time, process and productive power at Hospitality services sector, and can assist in functional management at his/her working organization or can perform functions of management at his/ her own organization.  
Access to Further Studies : Students graduating from this programme deserve in institution of higher education of tourism and hotel management, Accommodation and Travel Administration and Economic and administrative sciences faculties. Economy, administration, accommodation management of Open University faculty of Anadolu university or if students are successful at perpendicular passing exam by students choice and installation centre, they can pass below license programme of four yearly. Business administration Business administration and economy Accommodation management Accommodation management teaching Accommodation and hotel management Tourist guiding Tourism management and hotel management Tourism and guiding Students graduating from these departments can continue postgraduate education by passing exam of academic postgraduate education. Students can work at department of public relation at private company as well.  
Aims Of Programme : Tourism sector feels the need for skilled and educated manpower qualified in foreign language and information technologies. For that reason, the significance of vocational education has increased gradually and the feat of business enterprises has become dependent on well- educated and well- qualified labor force. In the programme of Accommodation Services, raising labor force being cognizant of information and communication technologies that might support the development of the sector has been taken as a goal. Students who graduate from this programme have been seen as skillful and vision holder individuals qualified in managing business enterprises, tourism sources, tourism riches, time and labor force and in all fields of tourism sector.  
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : Students of tourism and hotel management are dependent on pre license and license education and instruction and exam regulations of Süleyman Demirel University.  
Graduation Requirements : In legal time, to take all of the lessons which are necessary for graduation and to complete this programme by at least 2.00 general grade averages with lessons and to complete total 60 working day training period. Students may take some parts of unsuccessful lessons at summer school.  
Mode of Study (full-time, part-time, e-learning etc.) : 1) A method is based on theoretic lesson 2) A method is based on visual and practice education. 3) A method is based on improving ability of solving problem and model event. 4) Like a method is based on discussion, methods are supported working of laboratory, business administration practising, projects and technique trip.  

Program Learning Outcomes
1 Having general information on tourism sector, basic concepts related to the sector, accommodation executives, food- beverage executives and other tourism enterprises
2 Knowing a basic degree of foreign language, being able to talk English at a level to understand each other, knowing a second language at a level to understand conversations which is a need of the sector.Grasping international terms and idioms used in tourism sector, etc.
3 Being able to use software and hardware in the field of Hotel Management with the knowledge of the use of Basic Computer. Having skill at a level for correspondance, preparing of basic schedules, Vocational presentations and using Office programmes. Being informed on automation systems of Front Office, Housekeeping , Food and Beverage Departments and having the skill to use one of these software at least.
4 Owning the competency for Turkish written and verbal communication, conveying information and thoughts to the others . Having the skills of cogency, critical thinking, producing alternative solutions and analysing information
5 Having information on general nourishment principles, nourishment technology, knowing about storing methods of food,hygiene and sanitation in tourism enterprises and refectories and applying hygienic rules
6 Being informed on the management of Food-Beverage service.Applying any kind of technical information and skill on food-beverage service.Being equipped with the information of organizing banquet and protocol organizations,having information and skill on cuisine techniques and services , having technical information and food production skill on industrial food production
7 Having information design of Hotel Managements and rooms. Having information about the department of Hoesekeeping in Hotel Managements and grasping the mechanism of management. Knowing all processes in Front Office Department and being able to apply these processes with an automation programme. Having information and skill about Housekeeping .Having applied information about cleanliness, hygiene and order of hotel and rooms. Having information about the marketing of services emerging as a result of the activities above
8 Having general information and skill about tourism marketing, travel agencies, tour operating, congress, fair and meeting organizations
9 Having the consciousness of social, scientific and vocational ethic values. Having the competency of communication with specialists in other fields by owning leadership features
10 Having information to grasp relations providing integration among Hotel Enterprises? activities and other fields of tourism sector
11 Having general information on the accountancy of general accountancy and accommodation enteprises accountancy. Having financial information and skill to make analysis of tourism enterprises? activities. Having information on preparing standard recipes of Food- Beverage Enterprises and accounting their costs
12 Having consciousness and information on the principles of Atatürk and History of Revolution, Türkiye?s history and touristic places
