The detail information about the application (once or sometimes twice a year) and access requirements are released before academic year starts on its web site (fenbilimleri.sdu.edu.tr). Students who have started studies in other universities within or outside of the country may apply for their recognition. The recognition record is unique for each student and therefore the procedure is carried out accordingly before the start of each academic year.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
: |
National qualifications frameworks may contain levels (or intermediate qualifications) within the three Bologna cycles (e.g. a short cycle within the first cycle). These levels allow institutions to structure a particular qualification and regulate progression through the qualification. Qualification Requirements and Regulations are enacted by YÖK (The Council Of Higher Education) in Turkey.

Profile of The Programme
: |
Our aim is to educate engineers who can transform the information to social and industrial benefit, who can follow the developments in the global area and has the courage for competition
Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples
: |
The graduates of the Bachelor's programme in Computer Engineering Department have opportunities of employment in a variety of state and private funded companies. Because computers are an integral part of various aspects of society and culture, the duties of an engineer vary depending on which industry he specializes in. A computer engineer can work on three main different tracks as, hardware, software and education. Computer hardware engineers focus their work on the development, design or improvement of computer hardware or any hardware integrated computing system. However, computer software engineers focus their work on the development, design or improvement of computer software. These engineers work on software developing companies. Computer engineers can also get work in both the technology-driven corporations and the cooperation using limited computer technology. In addition to the above-mentioned positions, computer engineers can also become teachers of the incoming students about computer engineering and the workforce. Besides, they can perform academic career in an extended scientific field.
Access to Further Studies
: |
Upon a successful completion of the programme, student may continue with doctoral study in the same or similar scientific areas, which may accept students from Computer and Information Engineering.
Aims Of Programme
: |
The main objective of our department is to follow the technological and scientific developments in the field of computer science and information technology. Our main goals are to be adequate, creative, participant and responsible. Scientific productivity as well as analytic and academic thinking ability is our primary focus. We adopt the learning to learn and lifetime learning philosophies. We also try to contribute to the transformation of the information which is produced in international area, to social and industrial benefit
