Learning Outcomes of The Course Unit : Be able to calculate the degree of freedom of any mechanism
Be able to analysis the acceleration and velocity of at the any point of mechanism using an appropriate coordinate system
Be able to select and use an appropriate coordinate system to describe particle motion
Be able to analysis some important mechanism such as planetary gear mechanism, cam mechanism, bevel gear mechanim

Course Contents : Basic kinematic concepts, classification of mechanisms, finding degree of freedom of mechanisms,
four bar linkages, slider crank mechanisms, kinematic analysis of mechanisms, kinematic analysis
of gears and cams.

Course Goals : Having a comprehension of mobility analysis and senthesis, ability of machine
Develop a method for solving algorithmic thinking
The pre-set of mechanisms to meet the dynamic demands of the machines design
mobility features of machines and equipments;
Course Aims : The objective of the course is to provide sufficient theoretical background to understand contemporary mechanism design techniques and to develop skills for applying these theories.
