Course Contents : Introduction to gait analysis, Gait analysis techniques, 3D vs 2D approach to gait analysis, Limb rotation or Joint angles, Joint kinetics, Interpreting joint kinetic data, Human locomotion, Kinetics of human locomotion, Muscle biomechanics, Prosthetics, Orthesis, Humanoid robots

Course Goals : Human gait analysis to be used for humanoid robots
Course Aims : Gait analysis is the systematic study of human walking and provide the fundamentals of prosthesis, othoses, and humanoid robot designs for engineers. After the course, the student will be familiar with the subject including fundamental terminology, technique, and data interpretation used in gait analysis.
