Course Contents : General Energy balances at Synchronous Heat And Mass Transfer occurrences, similarity criteria and dimensional analysis, mass transfer via convection, mass transfer models and correlations, heat and mass transfer occurring between water and air at cooling towers, Merkel theorem and validation limits, Lewis correlation, cooling tower filling materials, resistances of filling materials against cooling tower performance and air flow.
