Course Contents : Stresses occurred due to underground mining, analytical and graphical methods for transformation of stresses and strains to another set of coordinate axes, relations between stress and strain, stress distribution around mining excavations, in-situ stress determination methods, excavation design in massive, stratified and jointed rock, design of pillars
