Course Contents : This module is concerned with the goal and importance of the mineral processing, the fundamental principles of gravity separation, advantages of gravity separation, recent developments of gravity concentration, modern gravity concentration methods and comparison of the methods, Knelson concentrator, Falcon concentrator, multi-gravity separator (MGS), separation principles of other modern gravity concentrator equipments.
