Course Contents : Basic definitions on safety in mining, introduction to occupational health and safety, safety laws and regulations, ergonomic approach to health and safety, industrial environment, mine accidents, statistical and economical analysis of accident data, cost of accidents, accident preventing techniques, human factor in health and safety, health and safety problems and their solution techniques in mining.

Course Goals : Learn about the basic concepts of occupational security
Identify risk factors for mining operation
Determine occupational security measures to be taken
Apply the basic rules of safety at work
Take security measures against occupational diseases
Course Aims : Uunderstanding of basic concepts related to occupational safety in the mining sector, elements that threaten the security job, occupational diseases, accidents and injuries, after legal procedures to occupational accidents, legislation on occupational safety.
